UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is looking for eligible candidates for the post of Regional Director, Assistant Assistant, Mining Assistant, Mineral Economist Assistant (Intelligence), Mining and Junior Assistant Engineer. As stated in the official notification of UPSC recruitment 2023, there are total 69 vacancies for this post. As per UPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, age limit is different for each post mentioned below in the post. As mentioned in the official notification of UPSC recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be paid the salary in the scale of 12/11/10/ of the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.

Selected candidates will be appointed on probation as per rules. Candidates will selected based on interview. Age Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

For Regional Director - upper age limit is 55 years.
For Assistant Assistant - Maximum age limit 40 years.
For Mining Garment Officer and Assistant Mineral Economist (Expert) - upper age limit is 35 years.
For Mining Engineers and Junior Assistants - Maximum age limit 30 years.
UPSC Recruitment 2023 Salary:
As per UPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will be paid salary as mentioned below-

For Regional Director - Selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary in scale 12 of the pay matrix.

For Assistant Assistant - Selected candidates will be paid monthly salary in scale 11 of the pay matrix.

For Mine Exchange Officer and Assistant Mineral Economist (Expert) - Selected candidates will be paid monthly salary in scale 10 of salary matrix.

For Assistant Mining Engineers and Juniors- Selected candidates will be paid salary in scale 7 of pay matrix.

For Regional Director M.Sc. in microbiology from a recognized university or institution; or M.S. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology from a recognized University or Institute; OR M.S. in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Specialization in Agricultural Extension from a recognized University or Institute.

For Assistant Professors - Master's Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science or Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Botany or; Master's Degree in Botany or Forestry or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from a recognized University or Institute

For Mining Assistant - Master's Degree in Mining or Mineral Processing or Geology or Physics or Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Mineral Engineering or with Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy.
